Summerfest to utilize Doak Geiger for sponsor activation.
Delafield, WI (March 2007) Summerfest has announced that Doak Geiger of Geiger & Associates, LLC, has been retained for managing its sponsor activities during its 40th Anniversary. He will be responsible for working with sponsors in planning and coordinating sponsor promotional and on-site activities.
Geiger & Associates is a marketing services and strategic planning consulting business with experience in working with a variety of corporations in various industries. Doak Geiger is the principal of Geiger & Associates, where he has worked with a variety of organizations and properties in the development of strategic marketing plans and execution of tactics. He has been responsible for event management for international events, and has worked with many festival events in the area. In 2005, he managed NASCAR driver Rusty Wallace's Last Call activities, including working with sponsors, venues, and media in planning and executing activities around Rusty's retirement year. Last year, he helped coordinate Summerfest's promotional partnership with the Milwaukee Mile, where he advised them on sponsor activation and other marketing activities.
