Working with the staff and board, a strategic planning process was instituted which analyzed the organization's strengths and weaknesses, and developed longer range plans to create a better focus on its core mission. As a result, areas were reorganized, systems were changed, and specialization areas were developed. As a result, Special Olympics Wisconsin is one of the world leaders within this movement in Resource Development, fund raising, athletes served, and quality of programs.
