Marquette University Student Health Service Strategic Plan
There was a need to develop a strategic plan to ensure that efforts of the staff were being utilized in the correct way, as well as communicating the strategic direction to constituencies. Geiger was contacted to provide training to the staff, facilitate the strategic planning process, provide direction to sub groups, develop presentation documents to administration executives, and provide assessment tools for the plan.
The resulting documents were used as a template for continuing planning on a University-wide basis for the Health service, and resulted in increased efficiencies and performance with reduced costs. |

Working with the staff and board, a strategic planning process was instituted which analyzed the organization's strengths and weaknesses, and developed longer range plans to create a better focus on its core mission. As a result, areas were reorganized, systems were changed, and specialization areas were developed. As a result, Special Olympics Wisconsin is one of the world leaders within this movement in Resource Development, fund raising, athletes served, and quality of programs. |

Working with an organization that had acquired 2 other organizations, an analysis was done to review the marketing materials for the organizations and meld the 3 into one presentation. The project involved rviewing existing formats and culture, speaking with marketing and sales executives for all organizations, developing a presentation, and revising presentations to match the culture of the organizations. |

Worked with this manufacturer of construction equipment on promotional strategies to tie into its positioning. Created an incentive for dealers using current client Rusty Wallace featuring an incentive trip to Daytona with a reception and tour by Rusty Wallace at the race. A video was created with Rusty for dealers, as well as sell sheets, promotional tie ins, and selling tips. |
