Geiger & Associates is a marketing services, strategic planning, sports promotion, event management, and meeting planning consulting business with experience in working with a variety of corporations, sanctioning bodies and leagues, television networks, promoters, manufacturers, and athletes. Prior to forming Geiger & Associates, Doak Geiger was employed for over 12 years Prior to forming Geiger & Associates in 1994, Doak Geiger was employed with a Fortune 100 company in various positions, including Event Marketing, New Products, and Promotions. While there, he was responsible for sports marketing efforts in motor sports, professional sports, and Olympic, amateur, and lifestyle sports, resulting in awards for sponsor activation and promotional marketing. including Sports Marketing, New Products, and Promotions. Mr. Geiger received a B.S. in Business Administration from Illinois State University and a M.B.A. from Syracuse University. He has been an instructor at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, Ottawa University, and Cardinal Stritch University. He has served on the board of directors for Special Olympics Wisconsin and The Wisconsin State Fair Park Foundation, and coaches swimming for Special Olympic athletes.
Geiger has been responsible for the integration of sponsorships and events into marketing plans, from strategic marketing planning and sports property procurement, promotion and point of sale development, cross promotions with other companies, incentives, merchandising, and execution of local and national events.
