Organizations have been sourced, screened, selected, and then Geiger has reviewed and evaluated student groups’ plans throughout the planning process. Groups are given feedback to each section to develop effective and valuable Marketing plans for the organizations.As a result, organizations have referred other companies to subsequent classes.

Geiger & Associates was established in 1994. Prior to forming Geiger & Associates, Doak Geiger was employed at Miller Brewing Company, including positions in Sports Marketing, New Products, and Promotions. During that time, Miller received the Car Craft Sponsor of the Year as a result of sponsorship activation. He also worked on the successful introduction of new products, including Leinenkugel's Red Lager.
Mr. Geiger received a B.S. in Business Administration from Illinois State University and M.B.A. from Syracuse University. He is an adjunct lecturer at the University of Wisconsin Madison and Milwaukee, creating and teaching courses in Sales management, B2B Marketing, Sports & Event Marketing, and Sports Management..
Geiger has been responsible for marketing programs and planning, including development of marketing plans, integration of sponsorships and events into marketing plans, strategic marketing planning and sports property procurement, promotion and point of sale development, cross promotions with other companies, incentives, merchandising, and execution of local and national events.
